Beyoncé’s daughter, 8, takes after mum with ultra sassy dancing

The eight-year-old took centre stage on her stylist’s Instagram page.

Stormi, Harper, Princess Charlotte… they all look to have inherited the genes that make them a natural in front of the camera. And Blue Ivy is leader of the pack.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s eldest daughter has already got the move and the sass – and she’s not even double figures yet.

The eight-year-old took centre stage on stylist Manuel A. Mendez’s Instagram page. And when we say ‘stylist’, we don’t mean Bey’s, we mean Blue’s.

Rising star Blue has casually been working with him since she was six, meanwhile we were still playing on the trampoline.

The footage sees Blue throwing shapes around to mum’s track Mood 4 Eva from the 2019 soundtrack of The Lion King: The Gift.

Blue shot to stardom at the tender age of two-days-old, when dad Jay-Z released a song dedicated to her called Glory following her birth in January 2012.

In the song, he sings: “False alarms and false starts.

“All made better by the sound of your heart.

“All the pain of the last time/ Prayed so hard it was the last time.

“Your mama said that you danced for her. Did you wiggle your hands for her?

“Glory! Glory! Glory! God’s gift… God makes no mistakes.”

The song references the pair’s struggles to conceive, including a miscarriage Beyoncé had before falling pregnant with her daughter.

Blue’s cries are featured at the end of the song, and she was credited on the track as B.I.C. (Blue Ivy Carter).

This made her the youngest person ever to appear on a Billboard chart when Glory debuted on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list.

Bey and Jay later went on to have twins Rumi and Sir, with their double trouble tots joining the family in June 2017.
