No matter how hard you try to be positive, each time Monday rolls around it’s damn hard to motivate yourself when you’ve spent the weekend work-free.
It can be especially tricky when you’ve got gym bunnies online shaking their pom-poms at you with the hashtag #MondayMotivation when all you want to do is hide under the duvet.
If this sounds like you, Elizabeth Su – aka, the internet’s big sister – is your virtual BFF.
This wellness badass mishmashes self-care, sass, and struggles to create positivity that resonates with you instead of alienating people from the exact message they need.
She does this through her Monday Vibes community, hitting up your inbox at the start of each week with a newsletter to explore all the wonderful and messy parts of being human.
So, whether you are a lover of personal growth, craving a dose of self-care, or simply want to start your week off on a positive note, Elizabeth can help you chart your own path to happiness and vows to make sure you don’t forget to put yourself on your to-do list.
Having experienced her own higgledy-piggledy road to success, the California queen is now on a mission to change the narrative of what other women have been told about happiness.
Speaking about her journey, in which she left a six-figure salary at a Silicon Valley start-up, she said she woke up one day realising she was trying to win a game she didn’t want to play.
Elizabeth said: “After achieving success in the ways I thought would bring me happiness I struggled with an eating disorder, my anxiety was through the roof, and I had zero minutes for self-care.”
She continued: “I said goodbye to my decade-long career in corporate to pursue my master’s degree in clinical psychology with a concentration in spirituality and mind-body practices and an advanced certification in sexuality, women and gender.
“I have since dedicated my career to empowering women, teaching about emotional and spiritual wellness and changing the rules of the game.”
There are also exclusive bonuses in abundance, with journal guides, helpful mantras, science-backed tips, and advice on relationships too.
Determined to break the mould of the cookie-cutter resources that are already out there, Elizabeth pledges to help you uncover your own personal path to happiness by gifting a cosy, slumber-party feel to some of life’s hardest challenges.
And the proof is in the pudding, with global vlogger phenomenon Zoella citing Monday Vibes as one of the ‘12 Newsletters Actually Worth Opening’ – when you consider all the spam that infiltrates your mailbox, that’s a pretty impressive compliment!
